Fallacy: my menstrual cycle should be 28 days

Fact: maybe not. 21-35 days are still considered as normal as a 28-day cycle.

Fallacy: “I ovulate on day 14 of my menstrual cycle”

Fact: maybe not. Day 14 ovulation only applies to 28-day cycles.

It is interesting to know that certain ‘obvious’ things are not that obvious after all. When it comes to getting pregnant, you need some facts to sink in. For those who conceive just at the sight or smell of their husbands, this might not matter, but for others, it sure does!

Getting pregnant could come by just one act of unprotected sexual intercourse. In fact at times even from protected intercourse using a condom with an invisible manufacturer’s defect or an over-enthusiastic husband!

At other times however, you need much more than that. Medically, you are not considered as having any major issues with not getting pregnant until after a year of regular unprotected vaginal sexual intercourse. How regular?
