The Dress Collection By Victoria Beckhams Sells Out?
Victoria Beckham’s designer wear range called The Dress Collection launched at Selfridges UK, and virtually sold out on the first day. But hey wait for the figures “Selfridges has received 17 dresses so far, which it split between its London and Manchester stores. The department store said that only three items were left by 3pm yesterday” Only 400 pieces fhave been available for sale from the The Dress Collection worldwide. The dresses, which have been compared in style to Roland Mouret’s structured designs, retail at around £1,500. In cases you didnt get it 15 dresses have been sold. I the headline grabber in the press and thought wow until i read the whole story. Do you agree it was a sellout?
I think the only people who bought the collection were the ones who were interested in the “Victoria” look..
I’d rather spend that money on a more well-known brand..

If she wants to establish herself as an exclusive brand she’s certainly going in the right direction by only selling 17 dresses at a time.

Yep but the publicity can only work to a certain extend. All the UK papers featured the launch so in my opinion sales are dismal and victoria flew to london for the launch. Well that alone must cost more than the dresses
