My Song Of The Week
Like some people, I was first introduced to Josh Kelley via his wife, actress Katherine Heigl. Despite my general dislike of her, I always said I would give his music a listen (I like to broaden my musical horizons and listen to musicians away from the mainstream thing). I was pleasantly surprised by his voice, his bluesy type songs and his lyrical content.
His album, Special Company, is a strong album and I was able to relate or be moved by most of the songs. Here’s the video to one of my favourites

I don’t really like Katherine Heigel either, but based on this song I’m kind of falling in love with her husband.

That a shame because Katherine is a really nice and down to earth person. Not what I expected at all. Her and Josh are a great couple. She speaks her mind and is a strong woman but sadly in Hollywood that seems to make you a bitch. Well not in my book – she is someone to admire and look up to. Josh is a great live performer – check him out. I saw him play in LA recently. Heigl was there dancing to all his songs, mixing with the crowd and having a great time. She was very sweet and had time for everyone.

Josh Kelley is even better live. I’ve seen him nearly a dozen times and he doen’t disappoint!
