Get Free Cosmetics at Saks, Macy’s and Dillard’s et al From Tomorrow

From Tuesday – the inaugaration day there will be a bonanza for you cosmetics and makeup lovers, as Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Dillard’s and other department stores give away $175 million worth of cosmetics as part of a 2004 class-action settlement involving price fixing on perfumes, lipsticks, moisturizers and other such products.The giveaways—one per person—will be distributed on a first-come first-served basis to anybody who bought cosmetics at a department store between May 1994 and July 2003 except for employees, lawyers and judges presiding over the case (Azizian, et al v. Federated Department Stores, Inc., et al.) In a statement, Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s announced that they will distribute over 4 million product units. Depending on the store, Macy’s will distribute products from Estée Lauder, Clinique, Lancôme, Clarins, Guerlain, Givenchy, Chanel, Boucheron, Coty, Calvin Klein, L’Oréal, and Christian Dior.Bloomingdale’s will distribute products from Estée Lauder, Clinique, Lancôme, Clarins, Guerlain, Chanel, Boucheron, L’Oréal, and Christian Dior.

WHY NOT: Go to as many stores and as many counters as possible and get as much “free stuff” as you can.
