The grammy awards are over but the fashion lives on. I was really dissapointed with the boring fashion but there are always some germs and nay stuff. For me fashion and beauty cannot be separated so i take a look at some of the best & worst make up and fashion and beauty on the red carpet.

Katy Perry in a gown that really worked on her worked on her.Katy Perry wore a strapless bubblegum pink dress that had an explosion of bows at the waist for her red carpet appearance. The one-song wonder’s Basil Soda dress was also elaborately pleated and Katy accessorized with an armful of diamonds. She looks unique, which always works for the Grammys. Now if only we could get her to tone down the clown makeup – but thats Kate Perry

Carrie Underwood wore a sparkly gold dress by Zuhair Murad on the red carpet. The gold dress was accented by vertical strips of sequins on a sheer layer and horizontal sequin accents.

Taking her turn on the red carpet, Audrina Patridge was on hand for the 2009 Grammy Awards.

Jordan Sparks…this dress had potential but it was sooo utterly unflattering on camera. Love her but not this dress. I love her natural look makeup.

Jennifer Hudson showed off a gorgeous figure in a sheer black skirt, gray belting and rouched white halter dress, owning the evening with a Grammy win and stunning performance. Jennifer Hudson wore one of the most edgiest trends from the runways: a dress with manipulated fabric that gives it a 3D effect. She off the look with bold diamond earrings and flawless makeup.

Worst Dressed Grammy

Does Bai Ling wear frightening frocks on the red carpet just to get photographed or are these dresses that she actually likes? Either way, the actress — here in a print mini accented by a huge bow — looks like a huge fashion “don’t.”

Natalie Cole wore a one-shoulder yellow print dress that had plenty of good looks on its own. But it was topped by the strangest gold chain that wrapped around the entire top of her body. Ugh.

Usher’s Wife Tameka Foster Plastic Surgery Emergency

Reports doing the rounds is Usher’s wife Tameka Foster Raymond, suffered an injury due to complications from plastic surgery in Brazi was. Usher was supposed to be one of the performers at music mogul Clive Davis’ star-studded bash, but he had to back out for what Davis called a serious illness in his family. Usher canceled his performance at the Recording Academy and Clive Davis’s Pre-Grammy Gala. Tameka gave birth to their second child, Naveid Ely Raymond, in December. The two have been married since August 2007. Details remain a bit sketchy but Clive did tell his guests last night that he had received phone calls from Usher and his mother, who both reported that they were dealing with a very serious illness in the family.

But, she let slip that for Obama’s often-admired lip color, she wields a variety of MAC lip pencils one darker, one light plus lipstick and gloss, which Grimes-Myles custom-mixes.Also, she goes easy on the blush for Obama and all women of color, preferring to contour and shade the face. “For women of color, they don’t really blush,” Grimes-Myles said. “You should [add] blush where you naturally blush.” For the brows, she employs Tweezerman tweezers and a combination of brow powders and pencils

Angelina Jolie’s Natural Beauty Look At The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button Premiere

Angelina Jolie looking understated yet stylish in minimalist makeup took to the red carpet with husband Brad Pitt Brad for his film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and showcased a stunning new hair do too. I am not a fan of her new updo which was styled in a sweeping side bun & a hairstyle like Liz Taylor in the 70’s (on a really, really bad hair day). It adds 10 years to her. But its her lips that set off the whole look, maintaining an understated softness, with just a touch of shine, to give her face a glamorous edge befitting one of the biggest awards ceremonies of the season.

As for Jolie’s complexion, celebrity makeup artist Mary Burton chose to focus on her eyes. She applied Lancome Artliner in Noir to the lash line starting at the inner corner and blended outward. To further enhance Jolie’s eyes, Burton used two mascaras—Lancome Courbe Virtuose Mascara in Black and Lancome oscillation Mascara in Black—applying a few coats of both to add volume and length.
