White Stuff Autumn Winter 2011 Collection – yay or nay
White stuff isn’t terribly exciting but it’s practical place you can go for nice, safe clothes without feeling you’re past it. New colours, new fabrics, different shapes and lengths all go to make shopping that little bit more exciting. Overpriced it may seem at full price but they always do a real sale where nearly everything is reduced! So if you have the patients of a saint then wait for the sale. The dresses really washes really well too…

White Stuff Sizing – how do white stuff sizes run?
So how does White Stuff sizes run, too small, too big or true to size. White Stuff have ridiculous vanity sizing esp on dresses and bottoms , way too generous, so if in doubt order a size down. The tops tend to run a little small or true to size so stick to your size just on tops and t-shirts.

White Stuff Dresses and Tunics – how good is the quality?
Do white stuff dresses scream White Stuff more than Boden screams Boden? The dresses are excellent and I find that the skirts, trousers, cardis etc are all fine, but the t-shirts and tops often seem a bit thin for the price, and they do a lot of ‘raw/ unfinidhed’ cut edges, which I don’t like. A lot of the tops are thin cotton but I find it washes well but look out for the eye watering lowcut in some of tops. The knitwear tends to bobble terribly after a couple of washes. What I really love are the White Stuff dresses, yes those garish prints on some of the dresses is what I like. There is a fairly good selection of un- White Stuff is that rocks your boat.

TM Lewin Women’s shirts and Suits review- are they good quality?
TM has no idea about how to market to women, but hey do they need to? The TM Lewin Women’s shirts aren’t created for glamour but quality that washes well. Go in the TM Lewin shop and you may feel a little intimidated but it does deliver what it says on the tin: four shirts for £100 smackers. And that’s all some men want. The great thing are the shirts available in some really nice colours that are rich, bright or neutral depending on taste. Some of the women;s shirts edge a bit on the boring side but hey they are mearnt to be practical and do wash well is that’s what you care about. If you want something a bit more flattering fit then go for the fitted body shape shirts.

TM Lewin Suits Review – are they worth the money?
TM Lewin suits are both stylish and affordable ( well sort of), T.M. Lewin are mainly known for their shirts…if you know about fashion then you know in London a gentleman goes to Jermyn street for his shirts and then over to Savile Row for his suits…unfortunately not everyone can afford a £5 000 custom tailored suit of Savile Row.
Pay full price for TM Lewin suits of £500 and they are overpriced, however they are some good deals and offers that you can use to get the suit for a decent and I honestly doubt you can get cheaper good quality suit than this?

Boden Men’s Shirts, Trousers and Jackets – worth the money?
The Boden men’s collection is like Maramite, you’ll either love it or hate it. I love the Boden shirts in bold even though my husband thinks they are so uncool. Well Boden for a start the word cool should never be used in one sentence, Boden is more traditional with focus on primary colours. If Boden men’s shirts in bold print aren’t for you there is still a great range of checked shirts, printed shirts, linen shirts, denim shirts, plain shirts… Basically, whatever type of shirt you would like, they have it. They have a good range of casual jackets too from wool blazer, tweed jackets, coat jacket, quilted jacket to portobello Jacket

Boden Johnnie B Sizes – and how good is the quality
Does Johnnie B sizing run true to size you may be wondering? The Johnnie B sizing system can be a bit confusing as the dresses and tops are mostly S, M or L. These can fit perfectly some adults who are on the smaller end up to size 12 for L. I like some of their stuff, their Johnnie B teenage range is very good quality but skinny jeans can run a little bit small so size them up. I have to say Boden Johnnie B wouldnt be my first choice as ‘cool’ but I like the simplicity of the range and these are good for teenage wardrobe staple or adults who are lucky enough to still fit in these.

Mini Boden for Boys and Girls – over-priced or worth it for the quality??
Is Mini Boden vver-priced or worth it for the quality?
Is Mini Boden Kitsch or delightfully retro?
Is Mini Boden Aspirational or snobby?
I think the clothes are great and for girls they can look pretty without flashing her knickers as she climbs trees. Quality is sometimes a bit inconsistent but the mini boden girls and boys clothes are a staple wardrobe for young children. Most things do last for absolutely ages but others have warped out of shape after only a few washes. I have always found their sizes to be good – particularly and tends to be true to size on bottom or trousers and run a bit larger for tops.
With great resale value on Ebay too, I don’t think the prices are too ridicluous, particularly for a few bits and pieces to jazz up a child wardrobe. I love the stuff for the boys too, it is really good quality. Sell it on Mini Boden kids stuff afterwards for a decent price so it doesn’t actually work out “that” expensive!!!!!
