Valentino Resort 2009
Well I have finally gotten around to looking at the Resort 2009 collections and I will say that I am not disappointed. Here is one of my favourites. This Valentino collection is very beautiful and simple. I liked the colour scheme; ladylike colours of pink and gray coupled with a pops of reds and yellows. The heels looked great and I loved the gowns with the necklines. All in all the collection is very mush wearable and if I had the oppurtunity I would definitely take the splurge and grab one… if only the funds were available.
Duck, Duck, Goose
When I was reading Fashion Darling’s tag, I immediately remembered that game. It’s the one where you sit in a circle and there’s one person behind tapping you on the head going duck, and you’re praying to the heavens that he doesn’t pick you and go goose. Or maybe that was just me who didn’t like to be it. Hmmm…
Anywho I’ve been tagged so here goes
The rules are posted at the beginning. At the end of the post, the player tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blog and leave a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.
1) What was I doing 10 years ago?
Ahhh….good question. I would have been about 8 so I was blissfully unaware of most things. You would probably catch me climbing a tree, going to the beach with my aunt, pleading with my mum to get a dog (still haven’t gotten one yet) and wishing I was living in Canada with my grand-dad.
2) What are 5 things on my to-do list today?
a) finish my assignment
b) study for my test
c) bake…something
d) talk to “the guy”
e) try not to go crazy, lol
3) Snacks I enjoy
. Chips ahoy
. Pringles
. Grapes
. Chocolate
4) Places I’ve Lived
Barbados and Canada
5) Things I’d do if I were a billionaire.
- Give some money to charity
- Buy my mum a house
- Make a trust fund for nate
- Hire Shia Labeouf to be my pool boy, LOL
- Buy a car
- Buy a plane for M.R.
6) People I want to know more about
Myself
My family

Your turn
The 16 diaries
Couture Salope

Designer Georgina Chapman looked stunning in Marchesa
Actress Rose McGowan surprised me by wearing this tulle Dolce & Gabbana gown on the red carpet. I would not have expected her to have worn it.
Stylish couple Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger graced us with their presence on the red carpet. Diane dazzled the red carpet in a beaded Chanel Haute Couture dress.
Actor Christian Slater and Tamara Mellon put in an appearance. Tamara is wearing a gorgeous Balmain dress. Look familiar? Kate Hudson wore the same dress to an awards ceremony this year.(images via celebutopia, wireimage)
A non- fashion post
Sigh every thing has been so busy lately. A lot of stuff has been going on and I’ve totally neglected my site for a bit. I have just been so uninspired lately and I’ve had no real motivation to actually sit and right. So sorry. I’ve been such a bad blogger.
Sigh.
I just came from watching American Idol and it was really good. I am a David Cook fan but I must say that David Archuleta gave some great performances and I can see him winning.
If you didn’t watch Gossip Girl last night don’t read the following sentences.
It was a really good episode. Chuck totally disappointed me in the end but I still love him.
The couples got matched for what I am assuming is for next season. Serena+Nate; Dan+Vanessa
Sorry to say but Serena is becoming one of my least favourite characters. She just annoys the shit out of me.
Anyways, I’ll try to be a better blogger to you guys.
Peace and love

I’m Back+ Fav looks of the week
Well guys, I’m back. I enjoyed my break a lot.
On to what has been going on lately…

Interesting look. I’m more excited for Alicia Keys. She’s so talented.
Over the week, some designers had their resort collections. My favourite has to be Oscar de la Renta’s.

There were lots of beautiful colours and silhouettes. Great red carpet dresses.
Oh Rihanna how I adore your closet. I love that pink jacket. And your heels are giving me a case of wannarexia.
Iman and Alek Wek looked fantastic at the 2008 American Image Awards
The ladies of “Sex and The City” had another premiere, this time in Germany. All the women looked nice; Sarah Jessica Parker in Versace; Kristin Davis in Oscar de la Renta; Cynthia Nixon in an embellished black gown and Kim Cattrall in an orange satin dress.
Diane Kruger looked lovely in a runched Chanel mini at the designer’s Cruise show
I absolutely loved this Thomas Wylde dress on Angelina Jolie. She looks so happy.
For a woman who just had a baby she looks absolutely amazing in an Armani gown.
I loved this colour. Eva is wearing a very beautiful Versace gown.
